Course description:
Total overview of Percussion instruments and techniques. Includes basic stick and mallet techniques, reading (rhythmic and melodic), musical terms and definitions, instrument care and maintenance, drumset reading and technique, timpani tuning and reading, rudiments, Latin and World Percussion instruments, basic brush technique, vibraphone technique and music theory.
